The Full Story
Leaders of the Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of students across Idaho by providing scholarships to those who demonstrate leadership and a commitment to strengthening their communities.
Our story began in 2023, when we recognized a gap in financial aid for students who work hard, show initiative, and contribute to their communities, but don’t always fit the traditional mold. Many scholarships focus solely on grades or conventional career paths, leaving behind students whose leadership shines in different ways.
We believe Idaho students have a unique talent for creating change and uplifting their neighborhoods—whether they’re future welders, linemen, teachers, doctors, or anything in between. Our program is designed to give all students a fair shot at funding, especially those pursuing hands-on careers or taking nontraditional routes to success.
By investing in these hardworking students, we’re not just funding education—we’re investing in the future of Idaho.
